Diana Lynn Garble, 54, of Tuscarawas died Monday, February 15, 2010 in Union Hospital at Dover following an extended illness.

A daughter of Dorothy (Kiggins) Garble and the late John J. Garble II, Diana was born December 26, 1955 at Martins Ferry, Ohio.

Diana graduated from Buckeye West High School at Adena, Ohio in 1974. She continued her education at Ashland University graduating in 1978 with Bachelor's of Science degree in Education. Diana was a dedicated and hardworking employee of 19 years for Cable Manufacturing & Assembly Company at Bolivar where she worked as a traffic manager. She was also a member of Grace United Methodist Church at Uhrichsville.

She enjoyed sports and was an avid fan of the University of Tennessee Lady Volunteers Basketball program as well as a fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes. She was a collector of Mickey Mouse memorabilia and enjoyed traveling to Florida especially when visiting Disney World and the beach.

Diana is survived by her mother, Dorothy of Tuscarawas; a sister, Carol Garble of Manchester, Connecticut and a brother, John Garble III of Akron.

A nephew, John Garble IV of Canal Winchester, Ohio; a niece, Janessa Garble of Morgantown, West Virginia; her aunt and uncle, Connie and Harry Kiggins of Cadiz, an aunt, Ann Siofletia of Deland, Florida, a close friend, Jan Dinsmore of Manchester, Connecticut; a very dear friend and neighbor, Kim Stoller of Tuscarawas and numerous cousins complete the family.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 18, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A funeral service celebrating Diana's life will be held on Friday, February 19, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Harry Milligan officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgecrest Memory Gardens at Dover.
